Large Portion of Love!
I believe and will be strictly enforcing a large, over portioned helping of love to all of my students. My disclaimer that comes with my large portion is that love doesn’t always look happy or provide a child what they WANT but what they NEED. I will do my best to always be kind and use positive reinforcement rather that negative. I believe that many classrooms today lack the amount of love necessary in the recipe. I do ask that you please remember that I am human too and am far from being “Super teacher to the rescue!” but hopefully I can show you that I desire to constantly pursue loving them and loving them well.
Hello from Ms.Freeman...
I graduated from the University of South Alabama with a degree in Elementary Education, I started South in 2005 and completed my Degree there as well. I am responsible for educating, loving, and being apart of many children’s lives in the school system. I desire to teach and provide fair opportunities for all of my students that step foot in my classroom not only in school itself but in life. I will do my best to provide a platform they can stand on and encourage them to work hard at what they love! Most of all I want to love my students well, even if it means I have to be hard on them.
...and the purpose of this blog.
The purpose of this blog is to provide you with an overview of things that are used in my classroom and ways in which I try to serve your children to the best of my abilities. It consists of resources I believe will set them up better to learn and grow. The following 5 things are a sample of what I use, please feel free to explore them: ALEX (Alabama Learning Exchange), Alabama Virtual Library, Podcasts, Large Portion of Love! and How do you learn best?
