Podcasts, Listen up!
Children love to listen to tapes and stories and I desire to keep my students engaged in their school work. Podcasts have many benefits including they can be listened to anytime, anywhere! Listening to Podcasts will also help with their listening and direction following skill development. I do realize that not all students have access to computers outside of school so I will do my best to accommodate.
Hello from Ms.Freeman...
I graduated from the University of South Alabama with a degree in Elementary Education, I started South in 2005 and completed my Degree there as well. I am responsible for educating, loving, and being apart of many children’s lives in the school system. I desire to teach and provide fair opportunities for all of my students that step foot in my classroom not only in school itself but in life. I will do my best to provide a platform they can stand on and encourage them to work hard at what they love! Most of all I want to love my students well, even if it means I have to be hard on them.
...and the purpose of this blog.
The purpose of this blog is to provide you with an overview of things that are used in my classroom and ways in which I try to serve your children to the best of my abilities. It consists of resources I believe will set them up better to learn and grow. The following 5 things are a sample of what I use, please feel free to explore them: ALEX (Alabama Learning Exchange), Alabama Virtual Library, Podcasts, Large Portion of Love! and How do you learn best?
